Hey, another question

So, I know there're all sorts of different dialects and stuff on Vana'diel - I mean, that'd be kinda hard to miss, right?


But, I mean, there's also that basic language that we all understand pretty well, I think. So I'm kinda curious, we all know the basic phrases, like (Hello!), and (I don't understand), and (please), and (I'm sorry), and stuff, but...

Why don't we bother learning, like, the entire thing? Seriously, wouldn't it be nice if we could all just speak the same and all understand each other?

I don't think anyone knows the entire language anymore. Most of it has been lost.

Agreed - efforts at better communication would be good. I'm just not sure how we could go about it.
